I saw a preview of this film Friday, April 9, and I recommend it strongly as a major contribution to the effort to humanize Arab-Jewish relationships. It is cognitive dissonance at its best–effectively undermining fears nourished by polemicists among Christians and Jews that Arabs and Muslims are the permanent, organic enemy of the Jewish (and Christian) people. Rob Satloff told the audience that some 97% of PBS stations in the U.S. plan to show the film Monday night–an extraordinary level of editorial approval. It will get wide distribution in France, Germany and elsewhere by the RT system, and it will also be broadcast on Arab satellite TV. This is a big deal.
